AI Use Policy
Effective Date: April 1, 2026 · Operated by Ink & Code Labs
This AI Use Policy explains how artificial intelligence features work within FrameOps, how your data interacts with AI systems, and your rights as a user of these features.
1. AI Features in FrameOps
FrameOps includes the following AI-powered features:
- Business Brain — a studio knowledge base you build and query using natural language
- AI-assisted proposal and contract drafting
- Smart email composition and client communication drafts
- Automated workflow suggestions
- Financial summaries and insights
- AI chat assistant for studio management questions
- Image tagging and gallery organization assistance
2. How AI Accesses Your Data
2.1 Business Brain
Documents and notes you add to Business Brain are retrieved at inference time to provide contextually relevant AI responses. This data is not stored in any AI system and is not used for training purposes.
2.2 Contextual Features
When you use AI features such as proposal drafting or email composition, relevant context (such as client name, shoot details, or pricing) may be included in the prompt sent to the AI model. This context is used only to generate your requested output.
2.3 Data Minimization
We send only the minimum data necessary to fulfill each AI request. We do not send full account data, payment information, or unrelated client records to AI processing systems.
3. AI Output Disclaimer
AI-generated outputs are suggestions only and should be reviewed before use. FrameOps does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal sufficiency of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any content before sending it to clients or using it in binding agreements.
4. Creative Work
AI features in FrameOps are designed to assist your creative and business workflow — not to replace your professional judgment or creative voice. Any content generated by AI within FrameOps is intended as a starting point for your own work.
5. No Training on Your Data
We do not use your business data, client information, uploaded documents, or Business Brain content to train AI models. Your data is read at inference time only and is never retained by or shared with AI providers for model training.
6. Third-Party AI Provider
FrameOps uses Google Gemini as its AI model provider. Some features require you to provide your own Gemini API key, which is stored securely in your account settings and used solely to make API requests on your behalf. Please review Google's terms and privacy policies for information on how Google handles API requests.
7. Responsible Use
You agree to use AI features in FrameOps responsibly and ethically. You must not use AI features to:
- Generate misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content
- Deceive clients or misrepresent services
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Harass, defame, or harm others
8. Limitations
AI features may not always be available and are subject to the availability of third-party AI providers. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue AI features at any time. AI features are provided as-is and without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.

3.4 Client Data
Client records, contact information, and associated data that you enter into FrameOps belong to you. We process this data only to provide the Service.
4. AI-Generated Content Ownership
Content generated by AI features within FrameOps based on your prompts and data is provided to you for your use. To the extent such content is copyrightable, any rights that may exist vest with you as the user who directed the AI output. We claim no ownership over AI outputs generated in your account.
5. DMCA Policy
We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content on FrameOps infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to support@frameops.app.

- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
6. Counter-Notification
If you believe that content was removed from FrameOps in error, you may submit a counter-notification to support@frameops.app. Counter-notifications must comply with the requirements of the DMCA, including a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
7. Repeat Infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
8. Feedback License
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about FrameOps, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose, including improving our products and services, without compensation or attribution to you.
